Transport wait times are currently 3 weeks from the time we receive your request.

⏱️ Transport Duration Limit

Please note: We are currently not accepting transport requests that exceed 30 hours in total travel time. If you require a transport that will take longer than 30 hours, please email us at imaginehomeorg@gmail.com. Thank you for your understanding!

Please note: that for transports taking less than three hours, we will not set up an entire transport for them. Instead, we will try to fill the trip and post it on our page asking for volunteers who may be available to help.

🐾 Eligibility Requirements

  • All cats must be at least 16 weeks old and no older than 12 years.
    • Cats older than 12 years will require written veterinary documentation confirming they are healthy enough for the duration of the transport.
  • We are not accepting transport requests exceeding 30 hours of travel time.

Imagine Home Inc. officers, Board of Directors, administrators, and volunteers will not be held responsible for any illness, injury, or damages that may occur during transport.

📢 Important Notice

This transport process depends on the full cooperation of all involved parties.

Please include the names of everyone on both the sending and receiving ends who will assist with coordination.
If any changes arise—including cancellation—you must notify Imagine Home within 24 hours.
Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the transport.

Does the Receiver rent or own their home?

Imagine Home requires documentation from landlords/apartment complexes to show that renters are permitted to own a cat or cats. Documentation must be on company letterhead and stating the renter's name and apartment number.

For example: How did the cat become homeless? What made you fall in love? How long has this cat been homeless?
Please list any known health concerns, special diet needs, and social temperament if known. This information will be used to determine the best way of interacting with the cat(s) during transport.
*NOTE* Our average time frame is 2-4 weeks from the time of your request to you meeting kitty. This can depend on the time of year and the area kitty is going FROM and TO.
